PRESS RELEASE
Londonist Presents: Slow Exposure

Londonist Presents: Slow Exposure is an exhibition of winning images from the first photography competition run by Londonist, a website that celebrates the culture, history and daily events of the capital. The photographs capture familiar London haunts in an unusual fashion, showcasing this hectic city at its most relaxed. The exhibition will be hanging in the laid-back ambiance of Ray's Jazz Cafe (Foyles, Charing Cross Road) from 24 April.

The winners were chosen from over 200 entries by a panel of expert judges:

    * Mike Ramsden, Presenter, BBC London.
    * Amanda Stone, Director, Slow Down London
    * Brett Jefferson Stott, Founder & CEO of Shoot Experience.

The exhibition forms part of Slow Down London, a festival to inspire Londoners to challenge the cult of speed and “live life in real time”.

Join us for a private view on 1 May, 6-8.30pm to find out who has won special prizes courtesy of Shoot Experience, meet judges, photographers and Londonist contributors and chill out to suitably ambient music. The cafe will be open, serving a selection of snacks and drinks. The party will continue later at a local bar. RSVP to londonist@gmail.com

If you can't make it on the night, pop into Foyles at your leisure - this is a celebration of slowness, after all.

Londonist presents: Slow Exposure runs at Ray's Jazz Cafe, Foyles, Charing Cross Road from 25 April to 24 May. Entrance is free.

It's probably a breach of the Official Secrets Act,

Outrageous. No, they shouldn't be sold, but MPs claims should definitely not be an official secret
